Finally got it.

I've been fighting bad engine runs and turn differences. I removed the spray bar and cleaned it with a shot of brake cleaner. The control problem got solved by setting the push rods in holes that are close to the plans locations. At the park this morning the Twister was greatly improved and the engine was controlable also. I flew the Jamison Special and found that the controls could use a tweaking. I changed handles at home and adjusted the elevator horn so the elevators move more. That should give me what I need.
