Looks like it's a hit.

The Chief is complete and flying. I've been doing short trim flights to get more "up and down" control. I ended up with moving the elevator pushrod just about as close to the elevator as it will go without binding. I also added about 3/4 of an ounce to the tail. Today's outing, in calm air, was successful. It's ready for a contest. I did switch to a handle with more adjustment just for grins. Without the digital angle finder I wouldn't have noticed that the fuselage cutout for the wing was 3 degrees off the stabilizer. I'm glad I cut the wing cutout to equal the stab cutout. Even with the tail weight the plane is stable in level flight. I have found that to be true with all my planes. Convential thinking says that addding tail weight makes the plane wander all over the place. I've found that it makes the plane corner harder.
