It's the end of summer, again.

Yesterday was high 60's and cloudy, today is 70 light winds and light mist all day. Kind of Octoberish.
After reading the responses on my post about the cooled fuel one of them showed a container insulated with a thermometer inside to keep track of the fuel temp. I cut some plastic foam into 1/4" thick strips and spray glued them to my fuel can. The whole can is covered with insulation to keep the fuel from heating up on the hot asphalt. With no hot asphalt in sight I went to the dog track anyway. The engine ran well and even pulled the plane through the pattern while running slower than normal. That's a good thing.
