The color of money.

I took my bi weekly trip to the body shop in New London this morning. The owner was in the office and the secretary said the car was ready. John said the seat still needed to be put in and the car cleaned and that I could pick it up today. I didn't have a ride so I said I would pick it up tomorrow. It will take a while to finish the car. Then I asked him if he would take cash hoping for a discount. $3500.00 plus $900.00 for the upholstery. I got the money from the bank and will be there in the morning. I don't expect the car to be ready but I want to pay him before he finds out how much work went into the paint job.
