Ignition lock.

I tried to get at the tumblers/wafers in the Saturn ign. lock to no avail. The cover I thought was holding the wafer springs down was covering an electronic thing that wasn't hooked to anything. It may be the thing that wipes the memory from the computer when unplugged or disturbed. I tried to remove the cylinder but nothing within reach would release it. I remember locks that needed a hole drilled in the right place so a probe could be inserted to depress a spring loaded tab to get the cylinder out. That was 40 years ago. Anyway the sun is out .
